Criminal Background Checks
In order to ensure the safety
and well-being of the girl and adult members of Girl Scouts of Santiam
Council, all prospective and current staff, board members and volunteers are
required to pass a criminal background check, including sex offender
registries, prior to working or being placed in a volunteer position.
Girl Scouts of Santiam
Council will maintain the complete confidentiality of all information
obtained through criminal background checks, reference checks, and all
information on application forms, including information regarding
disqualification decisions.
