Discover Girl Scouting!
Join Girl Scouts of Santiam Council on Sunday, June 13 from 1:00-4:00 p.m. at Salem’s Riverfront Park.

Girl Scouts of Santiam Council is hosting a special event to introduce girls and their families to the world of Girl Scouting. Come and bring your family to see some of the different types of activities girls can participate in. You can play games, sign-up for door prizes, talk to current Girl Scouts, see pictures and displays of past events and try some tasty snacks. Stay for 15 minutes or for the entire three hours.

Santiam Council is offering a special $20 membership package during the event; it includes:

    • A two year membership for the girl (starts now, expires September 31, 2005)
    • A one year membership for an attending adult (starts October 1, 2004, expires September 31, 2005)
    • One free carousel ride ticket, per new registration.
    • One free girl ticket for Discovery Village
    • Registered Girl Scouts also get discounted prices for Camp Whispering Winds
    • Discount to Girl Scout day camp located in Salem

THIS IS A SAVINGS OF OVER $15! Scholarships are available. A parent or guardian must be present to sign Registration forms. For more information contact Michelle Laseter at (503) 581-2451 or 800-875-2451 or mlaseter@girlscoutsofsantiam.org.

Girl Scouts of Santiam Council serves 4,266 members in Benton, Lincoln, Linn, Marion, Polk, and Yamhill counties. Girl Scouts of the USA is the world’s leading organization dedicated solely to girls – all girls – where, in an accepting and nurturing environment, girls build character and skill for success in the real world. In partnership with committed adult volunteers, Girl Scouts cultivate their full individual potential. The qualities they develop in Girl Scouting – leadership, values, social conscience, and conviction about their own self-worth – serve them all their lives.
