The Albany Girl Scouts would like to thank the individuals and businesses that made donations to our roofing campaign. In addition to their donation, our roofing contractors, Stutzman & Kropf, made a donation and managed to get some of the materials donated. The Girl Scouts were able to replace the roof on the Albany Girl Scout program center in September.

Fund raising efforts have been so successful that donations continued to come in after the roof was on. The Albany Girl Scout leaders have chosen to use the additional funds to replace the old furnace. We are working with Birchfield Heating and Air Conditioning Inc. to select and install a heating system that will fit our budget and meet our needs.

The Albany Girl Scout fund raising committee and Girl Scout leaders want to show their appreciation by having an open house Saturday November 20 at the program center, 1221-14 S.W. Albany from 1pm to 3pm. Any questions can go to Linda Brown, 979-1225.
